We would like to announce that our Tool Service Center will be closed from today, 3rd Aug 2021 until further notice to carry out a comprehensive disinfection.

This is due to an unfortunate case that one (1) of our employees has tested positive for COVID-19 today. Other employees that were working in the same premise last week were asked to get their COVID-19 tests this week. The management is also tracing other employees who might have been in close contact with the employee.

We have received approval from MITI to operate during FMCO from June 1, 2021 onwards. With this, changes below will be implemented:

Hilti Store Petaling Jaya (Bandar Sunway)

  • We will resume operation from June 2, 2021, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • Follow strict SOP when entering our premise
  • Stock collection, repair tool drop-off and pick-up are available

Tool Repair Service and Logistics Service

  • We will resume operation from June 2, 2021
  • Repair time promise is suspended until further notice
  • Pick-up and delivery of repair tool and stock delivery will operate as usual to customer with MITI approval
  • Do expect delay due to possible roadblocks and special arrangements to North, South and East
  • Please enclose your MITI letter when placing order and requesting for repair tools collection
  • Our transporters will contact the person-in-charge during delivery, please make sure the person-in-charge is available to receive the goods

Stock Collection at J&T Express (PUDO) and Schenker Warehouse

  • Stock collection at selected J&T Express will operate as usual, find out more info here
  • Stock collection at Schenker warehouse is available only between 2pm – 4pm for customers with MITI approval due to restricted manpower capacity
  • Follow strict SOP when entering the premise

Account Managers & Engineering Service

  • Our account managers and engineers will be supporting you digitally, unless appointment is made with customers / projects with approval to operate
  • Please enclose your MITI letter when requesting for pull-out testing

With the announcement from the government on the Total Lockdown or FMCO to battle the spread of the COVID-19 in Malaysia, Hilti has to take actions as follows:

  • Our AskHilti technical platform (https://ask.hilti.com.sg) – to answer to your technical questions or to get advice on our products

Update as of Mar 31, 2021

We have conducted deep disinfection and sanitisation in our office and Hilti Store Petaling Jaya (Bandar Sunway) on 31st March 2021, our office and Hilti Store Petaling Jaya (Bandar Sunway) will be reopened from 1st April 2021.

Contact tracing has been conducted, team members who had been / might have been in close contact with the affected team member are currently undergoing self-quarantined or working from home for 10 days. They will then take RT PCR COVID test after day 7 to ensure the test result shows negative.

Kindly adhere to all the SOP and practice good hygiene when visiting our Hilti Store. Operations are back to normal starting from 1st April 2021.

Hilti Store Petaling Jaya (Bandar Sunway)

  • Operation hour: 08:00am – 05:00pm (close during lunch hour from 12:00pm – 01:00pm)
  • Disinfection work will be carried out on every Monday, 08:00am – 09:00am
  • Purchase, stock collection, repair tools drop-off and pick-up are available, however we advise you to place your order in advance before visiting our store, either by calling your respective Hilti Account Manager, our Customer Service hotline at 1-800-88-0985 or order online using Click and Collect
  • Maximum 3 customers to be in Hilti Store at one time
  • Practice social distancing by keeping yourself at least 1 meter away from another
  • Wear a face mask when entering store, hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance
  • You will not be allowed to enter if your body temperature is higher than 37.5⁰C

Others:

  • Repair tool service and delivery service are operating as usual
  • Please expect 2 – 3 days of delay in air freight to East Malaysia due to flight availability
  • Hilti goods and repaired tools will be delivered and handover at the guardhouse of the jobsites, please provide the person in charge (PIC) in your PO to Hilti who is authorized to receive the goods and tools at the guardhouse
  • If you would like our Account Manager or Engineer to visit you at your jobsites or offices, please provide a written consent or permission (email or letter)

In the recent announcement of MCO, CMCO and RMCO by the Malaysian Government, Selangor state, where our office, Hilti Store and Tool Service Center are located at, is currently under MCO. In line with this announcement, here are some important changes in our business operation during MCO.

Hilti Store Petaling Jaya (Bandar Sunway)

  • Our store is currently close for disinfection and will back to operation from Jan 18, 2021, 08:00am – 05:00pm (close during lunch hour from 12:00pm – 01:00pm)
  • Disinfection work will be carried out on every Monday, 08:00am – 09:00am
  • Hilti Store is open strictly for stock collection, repair tools drop-off and pick-up only, please place your order with us before visiting our store, either by calling your respective Hilti Account Manager, our Customer Service hotline at 1-800-88-0985 or order online using Click and Collect
  • Glass door will be closed, you can enter our store using the side door, maximum 3 customers to be in Hilti Store at one time
  • Practice social distancing by keeping yourself at least 1 meter away from another
  • Wear a face mask when entering store, hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance
  • You will not be allowed to enter if your body temperature is higher than 37.5⁰C

Repair Tool Service

  • Repair tool service is operating as usual
  • Repair time promise of 2-1-3, 2-1-5 and 2-1-7 are not available during MCO

Delivery Service, Pick-up at J&T Express and Puchong Warehouse

  • Delivery service is operating as usual, please expect delay in delivery and tools pick-up due to possible roadblocks at certain location
  • Please expect 2 – 3 days of delay in air freight to East Malaysia due to flight availability
  • Hilti goods and repaired tools will be delivered and handover at the guardhouse of the jobsites, please provide the person in charge (PIC) in your PO to Hilti who is authorized to receive the goods and tools at the guardhouse
  • Our warehouse, which is located at Puchong, is operating as usual
  • Please bring along your MITI approval letter for verification purpose during goods pick-up

Customer Service and Hilti Online

  • Customer Service and Hilti Online will be operating as usual

Account Manager and Engineer

  • Our account managers and engineers will be working from home to assist you digitally, feel free to contact your respective account managers and engineers
  • If you would like them to visit you at your jobsites, please provide a written consent or permission (email or letter)
  • If you’re in the state that is not under MCO, our account managers and engineers are working as usual

Following the announcement of Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) implemented at Selangor, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur and Sabah from 14th to 27th October 2020, please take note on the changes below:

  • All operation (Hilti Store, delivery service, tool repair service, stock pick-up at J&T Express) remain as usual
  • Hilti Store Petaling Jaya (Bandar Sunway) is open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Please expect some delay in tools pick-up and stock delivery due to possible roadblocks at certain locations
  • Please expect 2 – 3 days of delay in air freight to East Malaysia due to flight availability
  • Tawau, Lahad Datu, Kunak and Semporna are currently under TEMCO, delivery and pick-up to and from these areas are not possible, customers from these areas are advised to pick up your products from our depot at Kota Kinabalu, if possible
  • Place your order via Hilti Online or quotation to confirm your order digitally, use Click & Collect function for same day collection from Hilti Store Petaling Jaya to minimize interaction (watch video on how to use Click & Collect)

Please follow the SOPs imposed by Ministry of Health, to check in using MySejahtera application, measure your body temperature and wear a face mask when entering the premises, including Hilti Store, warehouse and depots.

Hilti is ready to support all customers that fall under "Essential Service".

If you have received approval from the International Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI) to operate, we are ready to support you. Simply provide the following documents when placing your orders with us, either online, or directly with our Customer Serivces or Account Managers:

  • Approval letter indicating that you and / or your sub-contractors are categorized under Essential Service / Critical Construction and that Hilti is your supplier
  • Your Purchase Order to Hilti

With this, we can either deliver your order to your desired ship-to address or you can pick up from our warehouse which is located at Puchong.
