THE CHALLENGE
KL 118 is an iconic mixed-development near Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur.
Contractor's are facing a challeges on high shear loading for the tunnel slab connect to tunnel wall. We were asked for the solution to optimized the embedment design in the short period.
OUR HILTI SOLUTION
We suggested using our Hilti HIT-RE 500 V3 for the tunnel slab connect to tunnel wall. It helps to optimized the embedment design for the heavy shear loading and cost optimization from the design solution.
Our Hilti engineering team also provide the on-site testing service and stayed onsite to help in person throughout the process.
