Post-installed reduce embedment depth and rebar conflict
THE CHALLENGE
TRX is a commercial office located in the Kuala Lumpur.
Customer were facing the challenge of rebar conflict during installation and affected by low productivity.
Some of the steel couplers became misplaced during building, and we were brought in to see what could be done.
OUR HILTI SOLUTION
We suggested using our Hilti TE-30 drill, drilling holes 16 mm in diameter with Hilti RE 500 V3 to reduce the emembedment depth. It helps to save on embedment depth and avoid error compared to the coupler method.
Our Hilti engineering team also provide the On-site testing service to verify the installation quality.
