Design complex and day-to-day structural baseplate connections

Use preset templates to design concrete fixings including post-installed and cast-in-place anchors, baseplates, welds and stiffeners quickly and accurately. With just a click you can analyze baseplates using CBFEM and perform rigidity checks to determine whether to adapt the design or the loads. Optimize fixture points and perform stress and strain checks – PROFIS considers applied loads such as seismic and fatigue and can find economical solutions for avoiding breakout using supplementary reinforcement. Smart baseplate design further simplifies your design process.

Post Installed Rebar

Everything you need to design post-installed rebar applications

Add or extend concrete elements whether you're working with existing rebar or missing starter bars. Solve concrete structural joints and splices, and then verify the shear resistance at the interface between the old and new concrete.

Need to adapt the layout or geometry of your PIR design? PROFIS lets you easily customize the diameter, embedment depth and spacing parameters for existing concrete as well as post-installed.

Design End Anchorages and Lap Splices

Design end anchorages, lap splices and verify the shear forces at the interface between the old and new concrete according to TR 069, EC2, the strut model or the Hilti method. Would you like the software to suggest the best solution based on diameter or rebar spacing? Use automatic rebar location. Otherwise, you can create your specific solution with a fully custom layout of the old and new rebar.​

Design of single rebars – Easy design of anchorage length for single rebars

A single rebar was forgotten on the construction site? You just want to check the anchorage length of a single bar?​ Use the function for measuring the anchorage length of individual bar. The single rebar application is available for end anchorages and lap splices and the corresponding design methods.

2D Editor - Complete flexibility in designing your rebar application

Do you not have a regular reinforcement scheme or are you unable to place your subsequently introduced reinforcement bars in an orderly manner due to obstacles? With the 2D editor in the Reinforcement module you can design and calculate your specific application. Move individual rebars, mix diameters, delete individual rebars and enjoy full flexibility by positioning them in the 2D image or using the coordinates in the table.

With PROFIS you can measure subsequently installed shear connectors and verify the shear bond joint between the existing and new concrete. Determine if your design has edges, is symmetrical, and then define different areas where the shear stresses act.
