The suitability of HIT-RE 500 V4 or HIT-HY 200-R V3 for your connection can be verified through a design calculation in accordance with MS EN 1992-4. We recommend performing a design simulation using PROFIS Engineering to determine the most appropriate solution based on the actual loading conditions, edge distances, spacing, and base material details etc.
Apart from the design capacity, it is also important to consider the working time and curing time during installation:
HIT-RE 500 V4 [ETA-20/0541]
- Working time: approximately 20 minutes at 25°C
- Curing time: approximately 6 hours at 25°C
- Suitable for larger embedment depths and installations requiring more flexibility during anchor installation.
HIT-HY 200-R V3 [ETA-19/0601]
- Working time: approximately 9 minutes at 25°C
- Curing time: approximately 1 hour at 25°C
- Suitable when faster installation and load application are required.
For your application involving 4 × M30 threaded rods with 600 mm embedment depth, a relatively large volume of adhesive is required (approximately 335 ml per anchor point). From an installation perspective, HIT-RE 500 V4 generally offers better flexibility and control due to its longer working time, making it easier to manage deep embedment installations.
